there are a few games that i have played and cherish and this is one of them. along with crash 1,3,racing and uncharted 2. (i highly recomend these games) i would not be the same person i am today if these games were not made they changed my life!!

When I got it, I found out that they were right. I have Crash Bandicoot 3, which is also a great game, but I think Crash Bandicoot 2 is slightly better. It is a really fun game and is full of challenges. If you're a fan of platforming games, you should own this one, even if it is old. Better graphics, analogue compatible, new characters, new storyline, more things to collect, more environments, it goes on! I first got this game when I was 9, 10, something like that: I was the happiest person in the world!!! That was before I even played it!
Another truly amazing game and again, one of the best ever. It's such a massive step up from the first one that at first, you'll think it's a completely different series! You get to control a rocket pack aswell!
This time, at first, you have to help Cortex but of course, being Cortex, he turns on you at the end! Then you have to fight him again, like in nearly all the Crash games. You build up more of a relationship with the characters because they talk to you a lot more. We are also introduced to Crash's sister, Coco.
Again, the music on this game is fantastic like in the first one. If you thought the first one was good, then buy this, and you'll know the definition of a good game!Crash Bandicoot 2Review date: 2008-11-01 Rating: 10 out of 10Crash is one of the icons of the Playstation, as is Mario to the Nintendo or Sonic to the Sega. The first game was great, but a bit rough and ready and was not quite the finished product (with problems such as the dire saving system). This sequel has ironed out those creases and set the tone for the Crash Bandicoot franchise. Whereas Crash Bandicoot 1 was more of a traditional platformer, following a quite strict linear pattern, Cortex Srikes Back is not so restricted because of the new warp room format and more roaming gameplay, and the game is better for that. Also collecting gems has been made a lot easier as it doesn't matter if you lose a life during a level, you can still get the gem. Naughty Dog have returned to sanity and introduced a normal saving system (thank goodness), so no worries about not completing that daft bonus level here (apologies to anyone who hasn't played the original and doesn't know what I'm talking about).
The graphics could be better, and are inferior to Nintendo's wonderfully colourful creations, but the pros of this game considerably outweigh the cons and your Playstation isn't complete without it.THE BEST OF BANDICOOTReview date: 2007-09-04 Rating: 10 out of 10this is the best game in the bandicoot series (full of secrets and easter eggs) very fun
